This page explains how to request the deletion of your Crooks Arena account and your data, what is deleted, what is kept and for how long.
In the game
- Open Crooks Arena and sign in.
- Open Settings, then the Account tab.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
By email
If you can no longer open the game, write to [email protected] with the subject "Crooks Arena account deletion". Give the name of one of your Crooks and your platform (Android or iOS). We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We reply within one month, which may be extended by two months for a complex request.
Cancellation period
The account is deactivated immediately. You have 30 days to cancel by signing in again; after this period, the deletion is final. A banned account cannot cancel its request.
Data deleted
At the end of the 30-day period, we delete in particular:
- your Google or Apple account identifier and your country;
- your items, equipment, cosmetics, chests and rewards;
- your friends, friend requests, blocks and rooms;
- your notification token and session data.
Technical request data (IP address, date and time, app version) is kept for 30 days at most.
Data kept
What remains is pseudonymized: no name or identity.
- Fight results and Crooks under a neutral name, needed for other players' games.
- Accounting records required by law, including the purchase history: for the legal retention period.
- Backups: until they expire.
- Data held by Apple, Google, AdMob and Firebase: under their own policies.
- Hash of a banned account: only if the account is banned at the time of erasure, for 12 months, then deleted automatically.
